Hi Greg.Do you know what improvements there are. Pity there is not some sort of file arrangement for waypoints where you copy only the waypoints you want instead of a double of everything from one device to another. I do a lot of volunteer work for dpaw logging orchids and carry a small gps in the field and copy the waypoints to a tab for a screen shot of a particular area. Unfortunately without first deleting everything on the one i carry you just end up with double or treble depending how many times you transfer from one to another . Unless someone knows a better way.
cheers Graeme.

I like the addition of a floating scale.

Hello Graeme

The "improvements" are listed under "History of Changes"/Program History" on respective web pages.

I am unsure of what you are actually doing to get "double of everything from one device to another" when transferring waypoints. Suspect you just need to change the way you are doing things to prevent this.

I would suggest doing all your data management on a PC using full OziExplorer (not on the tablet or GPS) as it has more options and it easier to add/delete/modify data files (waypoints and tracks) than android version. This should solve your problem.

Cheers

Yeah..thats a bit strange ..a "bug" or maybe Google hired an ex Apple programmer who had never heard of an SD card or thought restricting the users ability to save/access files (which belong to the user) to/from where they want was normal practice :)

Des updated Ver 3.95.6b again on Sunday 7 Dec. If you tried to navigate to a waypoint, you would receive an exception error. You had to then reboot Ozi to continue.

Des didnt change the version number, so if you downloaded Ver 3.95.6b before Sunday before midday, then you wont have the latest release of that version.

....Android Version updated the other day to 1.25

* Fixed problem with OziExplorer crashing on certain devices on startup.
* Fixed problem with the map scale bar not displaying correctly for "nm / meter" distance unit setting.
