Thinking of downloading some maps for an upcoming trip, does anyone know if the Hema or Mud maps cover Tasmania? And which is better?

Just checked out Mud Maps, $99 for the app, then $119 for the Tassie map. Forget it. Do you know if Tasmania is included in the Hema maps app, or is that an extra also?

Get Memory Map ( not Mud Map). Free on PC and Android and about $1.00 on IOS.

Then start an account and download the Aus topo 250K map. Australia Wide 250K with just about every track there is for free.

You can download it in the app or better still bulk download it here

Thanks Boobook

Just checked those links and the main one relates to 'iPhones' & it has the following note embedded:

'Please Note
Only a 3G iPhone or iPad has a GPS built in but you can get a remote GPS for about $100 that works with other iOS units including the iPod Touch.
The best example we know of is the XGPS150 as seen here
This can be purchased in Australia from here'

I have a Samsung Galaxy - which is the Android format you included as being available with that link.

Just wondering how to go about researching the Android option - which didn't appear to be an option on that link.

Thanks for your help

Regards - Phil
