If you are having problems with lights,
check your EARTH connection on the van. I didn't ant it cost me $265 for an electrician to find. Earth connections frequently rust and corrode. Also, they tend to be hidden. Just try a new clean earth lead before getting despearate.

Couldn't agree more David, My vans lights went very bad with different lights flashing as soon as I indicated, indicators going when I braked etc. I checked the earth and found it was loose! Used a lock washer, tightened it up and never any trouble since.
With all things electrical I think the first thing to
check is the earth.
