If you have an android phone, go to ebay and look up ODB2 ELM 327 bluetooth. That will cost you about $20. Then download Torque Pro from Google Play. It is about $4.00

There is an ODB2 connector somewhere under the steering wheel. Plug the bluetooth ELM 327 into it and pair it to the phone. The Torque app will allow you to download the trouble codes that set off the engine light. Then it will allow you to reset the light.

You can also check other parameters and have speed, engine load, MAF etc etc.

The would be an iphone equivalent i am sure.

If it isn't a recurring fault, just disconnect the battery for ten minutes or so, some say 30 minutes. This will reset all the faults, but if it occurs again as soon as you start the ute, then you have a fault with something. Since you have had the egr system out and the manifold then there is a possibility that you have reconnected something wrongly, or damaged it in the process of cleaning.
