Thought I'd load my Rig Photo today(raining again) but am stumped.Got photo down sized but how do you convert a bmp. file into a gif or ipg file?

try importing into paint or power point and click Save as
select JPEG
make sure file is below 50k

when you click to save the image at the bottom it will have a box to type in a file name and below that is a button for file type click on this and it will give you a list of options ,click on the one you want

Thanks Guys,now why is my picture so small(50 kb-whatever they are) when other pictures much bigger?

I think that is a great photo but I had to use my binoculars to see it. sorry.

You need to resize the photo to around 300 pixels x 300 pixles.

If you check the properties of your pic (right click on the photo where it is saved on your computer and then click on properties)

there should be info here as to the physical size of te pic

Checked sizes 296x418 pixels and 43 kb.I know it says to keep width under 300,thought it was,I think Ive been looking at the screen to long.
Ready to give up!!!

Nick if you get really fed up send me the pic and i will have a shot, did mine and it seems to come up the same size as other thumbnails on here
