Am setting up my off road Coromal van with 160 watts of solar - need an inverter to run t.v & satellite decoder ( cannot afford a pure sine wave - so opting for a modified sine wave) .... estimate 300 watt inverter ... but I think there may be a limit on t.v's that can run off modified sine wave inverters - does anyone know - other wise would have to pay extra for a 12 volt one I suppose . Will probably get a cheap generator to charge battery as a back up only .

Satellite decoder??

I thought the appealling part of camping etc was to get away from those things .

I am not being critical, I just don't understand what the benefits of leaving home would be .
