Hi, I know this is a wide open question with probably no clear answer. Planning to tour the Kimberley,to Broome, and down the west Coast to Geraldton this year (May to September). Is there any trips, accomodation etc that we should prebook? Thanks in advance. Greg & Di

Hi Greg and Di
Most parks across the top will not take bookings much more than a week out when they confedent you are in the area. Places south of Broome ,Barn Hill, 80 mile beach dont take bookings 1st in best site and that usual means not later than 11ish .Hedland,Point Samson, Exmouth ,Coral bay Ect as soon as you have plan or ETA you would need to book .Carnavon Geraldton a day or too out would suffice if at all.
The 2 main tours we have found is the sunset Camel rides in Broome and diving with the whale sharks at Exmouth are booked pretty heavy
IMHO dont book too far ahead you may have to leave a magic spot to go to a dump be flexable dont look more than a week in advance.
All the stops across the top are excellant with dump points and good clean drop toilets BUT they start filling up from 11 on and by 2.30 spots are very hard to find
Enjoy

A day trip to the Horizontal Falls should be at the top of your list.

I'm glad I ain't too scared to be lazy

Very true but find out what the tides are when you want to go.

We went but rang and found out the best dates to go.

If its neap tide time they may not even go.

We went with Horizontal Falls Adventures and had a great time.

Cost About $1400 for two from Broome.

Was highlight of the years trip along with the Bungles.
