Have any Adventure camper owners put a inner spring mattress in your camper ? It comes with a foam one . Has anyone used "Made to measure mattresses" ? In any off-road campers? Look forward to any responses.

Indeed, it's the only way to go. I have a custom made innerspring fitted into my truck camper. It was made by a mob in Queensland; Made to Measure Mattresses.

I had to have it made thinner than a conventional mattress and with a gauze backing for ventilation. It has been the best investment and is a damn site kinder to my creaking back than those damn foam ones.
Very reasonably priced and delivered to the door in Victoria with absolutely no hassles.
Cheers
Mick

Thanks Mick gave them a call today. Because of our height restriction can only go 100mm so may be looking at a self inflating one . Doing the Connie Sue in mid July so got abit of time.

Makin Mattresses can make a 100 mm high latex mattress but said it is a more more expensive option. Just depends how much you want to spend.

The unique design of the camper bed only allows a certain height so the tent can fold up with it. Rang camping country australia very helpful will do a measure up and try a self inflating one!
