Can anyone provide some reasonably current information on the prices being asked for unleaded fuel between Ceduna and Norseman, please?

Thanks

As a general rule for budgeting purposes I use a figure between 20-50 cents above Norseman/Kalgoorlie rates.

At current prices, allow for $1.40-1.70 a litre and you won't be disappointed.

Not far out usually.
It's better to budget for higher price than lower, that way there's extra cash for the trip.

Really, the best guide would be a few short phone calls direct to the roadhouses.

For West Aussie fuel prices look up WWW.Fuelwatch.wa.gov.au Prices have to be posted daily

Penong is usually cheaper than Ceduna. Eucla is usually cheaper than the Border Village.
Nullarbor Roadhouse is usually dearer than all the others.

Hope this helps

Country servos don't need to now.

Try finding Merredin or Southern Cross on Fuelwatch, they are no longer listed.

Norseman is on fuel watch, but none of the Eyre Highway roadhouses.

Hi Bruce, it seems prices not that easy to find, but try 'nullabor fuel' as a search term or look up the many other motoring/c/van, 4wd, RAC ...group sites on net, also my recent trip forum post has some of the diesel prices listed as below-kept my dockets. ?? you can est unleaded from the diesel cost.
Sorry ive only got DIESEL in my notes. I note Balladonia didn't show $/L on my dockets! .
Nundroo 1.60/L, Mundrabilla 1.72/L, Pt augusta $149.7/L, Ceduna $1.51/L.

Thanks everyone. That is exactly the information I was seeking.

Wanting to know prices has nothing to do with whether one can afford this trip. With a 180 litre tank and a little knowledge one can plan to not spend more than is necessary.

Cheers and thanks
