Ozrover
Hi all, the Ozrover mini clan has moved again, this time permanently.
Some of you may already know but Karen & I have bought the Poochera Hotel & Caravan Park.
We've cleaned up the Caravan Park & it is now open, the Pub will reopen at the end of February (hopefully).
So if anyone is travelling across the Eyre Peninsula, to or from the
Gawler Ranges, or the
Googs track, call in & say G'day.
I will eventually upgrade to a
business membership but for now I will still be posting as Ozrover.

Sick of been told what to do ah Jeff. Going from being told to the teller. All the best with the new venture. Will be going through
Tennant Creek and was going to pop in. Will have to look at the itinerary to see if I can go through Poochera.

Jeff & Karen, all the best in your new venture. We are heading west in August & you are already on our itinerary. I have read many of your posts in the last few years & look forward to meeting you.
Cheers,

Jeff,
I was just looking at your Pub on Google streetview.
Do you think people might be allowed to park their vans overnight in that
open space to the left of the pub?
It would be nice to have a meal and a couple of sherberts at your pub and just walk "home" to bed.
In the past I have overnighted at
Minnipa, they've got a large concrete pad area with power and
toilets, not that we used them, for $10 a night.
Just something you might be able to consider that would attract a few more customers.
Cheers

Silly me. I just engaged my brain and saw that you bought the Caravan Park as
well.
Disregard the post above (I wish we had a delete button).

Afterr that poorly researched post above, I thought I should post something a bit more interesting.
Apparently Poochera (and the hotel/van park because it's the only accommodation) is the Centre of the Universe for entymologists.
