Here's some madness with tyres that's a bit more local.

Tyre fun

Might have to copy and paste but worth the effort.
Dave.

Yair, all very clever. But those wheel nuts weren't tight.

I just showed the video to Roz. She thought it would be a good party trick with the Troopy on our next group trek on the Anne Beadell.

But she has grabbed the driving!

Allan, I also noticed that with the wheel nuts. Also it only had drive to the R/H side wheels. Have seen cars at shows on two wheels, but usually have locked diffs so as to get the drive to ground.

Yes Al, the left rear wheel stopped dead as soon as it left the ground, the front spun on for a bit.

Don't imagine for a moment that there was not some vehicle preparation. A locked diff with LH axle removed maybe??

I think you could be spot on there. I don't think I will try it in the near future though, will leave it to you on the Anne Beadell.
Cheers,
Allan.

hi
if you study the speed you will notice they are only going about 10 kphr and their hair and turbans are not even flapping if they were doing the claimed 200kphr everything would have been flapping wildly and they would have been hanging on for dear life even at 100 kphr on the back of a ute the slip steam is quiet powerful it amazes me how easily people get sucked in by the b/s claims
have another look to gauge my assumptions its very obvious
cheers

Yes, I noted the "200kph and considered that it was a mis-print for "20kph".

In the top L/H corner of the screen there is an add for a Cressida doing 200 KMH on two wheels. Different video. Didn't note any mention of the FJ Cruiser speed.

Oh yes! - It's all good fun! - until someone gets hurt!! [;-)

I wonder how many Arab boys fell on their heads on the road, before they got one effort right?? [:-)

Plenty of Arab boys to expend, I suppose - if they weren't doing stunts like this, they'd be blowing each other away with AK47's!

Cheers, Ron.
