They call them tractors refering to just the truck (no trailer) on a semi trailer configuration...
And you know what it is the correct name for them...

Tractor comes from the word traction which means the use of traction power to move an object (in this case the trailer)...

In that case we might really be able to get TrucksterNT fired up by all calling our "trucks"....."TRACTORS"....as most of us tow something at one time or another.....so that means we have a item of motive power that provides traction for something we're pulling .....No, no, no, no: that's a whole other story, & I'm not even gunna start going there!!!!!!! LOL.

Hi Eric... My only intention was to get to the C/Park at Dimboola and mingle all weekend and go on whatever treks were available......Now i am not passing blame or anything like that but just stating a fact which we are trying to get through.......My Fiance is quite shy and when she saw what she thought was 1,000,000 people she doesnt know she sorta freaked out and wouldnt get outta the car... So i went and mingled a bit but felt guilty she was sitting out there on here own so i told her we would go to the Grampians for a bit and come back later....
Later never came..... One of those things mate.....

It must be a hard thing to overcome and we will keep trying.... Maybe a few people at a time might be the go...
