Simpson Desert trip July 08

Hi, Just thought I would go through my plans for the Simpson Desert trip. Like all of these sort of trips it has been a good few years in the planning. And I have to agree with my father here,

Hi William,

I will be there ( Simpson ) Around the same time. I will be taking the Coober Pedy - Oodnadatta - Dalhousie path. French line and then on through to Birdsville. Coming back to Adelaide via Innaminka and Broken Hill.

This time through I am travelling with the Father in Law and the two Brother in Laws and their two young sons. That is 6 butts and 2 4wd! The Pajero is being loaded with 95% of the equipment. Last time through I was 3 ton but this time I recon I am going to be a few kilo's over that!

The father in law will be in his Disco ( green ) and I will be in the Pajero. Might see you on the track.

Hi Jason, I cannot remember if I have replied to you, if not apologies.
Sounds like you will be having a bit of a boys road trip.
Weight of the vehicle is certainly a issue, will weight (pun intended, LOL) and see when I start to load up over the next couple of days.
Have a good trip and a safe one and I will look out for you on the track.
