Comment: Rudall River NP - Exploring the northwest edge of the Throssell Ranges

Top blog Mick.

Your blogs, with your very astute obsevations, are an inspiriation to others contemplating visit to the regions you have described.

I am hoping to venture into a couple of places (Rudall NP initially & duck off down to Durba Springs whilst in that area. I don't particularly desire to trek the whole CSR for the sake of saying I've done it.)

There is a vast area of the Pilbara yet to rediscover - places a bloke drove through as a young fella in an HR Holden and the long gone Valiant Pacer, neither of which would get me far off the beaten track. It was difficult enough negotiating the main road when it was thoroughly soaked by cyclones through the Pilbara, sandruts up through the west kimberley, swollen creeks and rivers and blacksoil stetches from Halls Ck to Wyndham - all so long ago.

The Kimberley and territory also beckon - so much to do ......hopefully,

Cheers - Phil
