We read your report with interest. Pity to hear you didn't go a bit further to Konalda itself which has the original house and old petrol bowsers from the days when the trip across the Nullabor was by track not road. There is also an incredible
cave used as a source of
water for the sheep, not far from
the settlement. Also
Eucla has a museum with a collection of photos etc with the marvellous history of the area which includes the telecommunications base and also Konalda. We have crossed the Nullabor and returned at least 5 times in the past few years to visit our daughter and family and each time find something new and exciting.
