Very interesting reading your blog, thank you. We explored some of the area in Qld in reverse last winter - in particular the bit from Mt Isa through to Cunnamulla and found it a fascinating part of Qld. Spent three or four nights camping along the section between Boulia and Winton, one near the site of the Min Min Hotel. Loved the landforms and vegetation you mention too. My first blog was our record of the trip.
