Meandering North around WA (Guilderton to Greenough/Geraldton) 2009

13th May Guilderton Caravan Park We arrived in this little seaside town around mid afternoon after searching for a suitable overnight stay in a free camp. Of the two we looked at,

car is certainly turning into a drama - the problem is that the vacuum pump sprocket has a chip off the timing chain. No replacement part in Aust, has to be sent from Spain and may take 3 to 4 weeks (up to 7 according to mechanic) to get here. If Nissan agree that it is a warranty claim then they will also pay for a hire vehicle until we get it back but...as yet we dont know what their decision is. We are stuck in the van park now for months maybe, and not happy about it really. Will find out more hopefully today or tomorrow and probably post something about it on the forum to find out whether anyone else has had a similar problem.
