Does anyone know where to get the results of the independent portable fridge tests done by the Queensland University of Technology & the Department of Defence (DoD). I have been advised that DoD are redoing their
test, as some of the manufacturers werent happy with the
test procedures. There was also a suggestion that the inital results were published in 4 x 4 monthly. Can anyone help?

The most recent fridge survey published by 4x4 was in the December 2000 edition - dont know if this is the survey you are interested in but its still worth a look. Regards Greg

By the way I was referring to 4x4 Australia Magazine and not 4x4 Monthly

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately the 4x4 December edition was just a compilation of manufacturer information. You will notice the power consumption
test for each manufacturer varies so much its difficult to make a useful comparison ie some fridges are empty, others are full, temperatures differ (both ambient & within the fridge) etc
