I don't understand Trevor - you had all the right bits there to make a kart that your son could pedal-power himself around on, but now you're pushing him around on it?! Oh
well, at least the quality time you spend with him wasn't just limited to the time building it!

This thought had crossed my mind more than once but every time I could not work out how to get the sprocket up front for my son to pedal it. It may be something that dawns on me one day and when it does for $20 I would be happy to build another for him or modify the existing one.
