The climb down into Wolfe
Creek Meteor Crater is pretty steep and slippery. It is worse climbing back out as the centre is lower than the surrounding plain. It is rewarding for the agile or reckless. Went over the road into there in August 2009 and the condition of the road was pretty bad then.
