Hi Rob,

Thanks for your most informative and interesting blog.

Of particular interest to me are the details of the vehicles and the dates, they will help me pinpoint vehicle travel on the CSR and will be included in my yet to be finished book on the CSR.

Hi Phil, I just added a photo of a Vibroseis truck (thumper). This is a more recent model as I could not find any late 60's early 70's Inters with the machines on the back. I think there was four of the thumpers and the recording truck was a 4 x 4 around 4-5 tonner with balloon tyres, cannot find an image of the type only later ones. Hope this helps. You may be able to research the state libraries (? spelling) or mines dept for info on those days. Cannot remember who the oil exploration company was but the siesmic crew were from Ray Geophysics out of Texas.
