Comment: My WA Wildflowers shots from late 2009

Love your photos Damien.
We visited the Stirling Ranges before the wildflower season unfortunately but it was still a beautiful place to walk and stay.
We were also a couple of weeks too early to see the desert peas in Karijini.
Next time we go across to the west it will be later in the winter.

Cheers Heather

Yes Heather, re wildflower timing - bit of luck and some favourable weather can come in handy ! We caught some good desert peas up in the Pilbara in 08 - was astounded to find wonderful desert peas sitting on top of stalks that were up to 1m high ! - being from SA, we thought they were all prostrate plants.
