Mandrake, I can't remember how your camp is set up now, but you say you will have to have your panel facing Northish.
To me that means the lid is open towards the Southish, and a lot of our wind comes from the Southish.
Do you see this as a problem with the rest of your camp setup.
With my CT, I like to have the kitchen on the upwind side so that the gas doesn't blow around all the time. That generally means the kitchen is on the northern side a lot of the time.

Yep - its going to be a problem as you can't always face the way you want in a campsite - So I guess I'll have to "steal" one of my 100 watt portables "JUST IN CASE" - Oh the joys of owning a solar panel emporium LOL ...
