Thanks Michael, will have to keep this list handy.
BUT, aren't some of those things only available on prescription? eg. Maxalon. Would a
supermarket or over-the-counter variety be available and suitable? eg. Dexsel or similar?

That's right Timbo.
In NSW (not sure about other states) you can buy a product over the counter called Anagraine that is a combination of Maxolon and Panadol.
In May 2010 the rules change so we will be able to sell Chlorsig without a script.
Sofradex, Amoxil and Keflex require scripts but most docs would prescribe them if you suggested they were for a remote area travel kit.
In NSW Ventolin needs an asthma card, but not a script.
