G'day Norm,
Sounds like the nomadic life is agreeing with you! What a great write up on Tassie, I will look forward to our time there (in a few years as
well unfortunately). We were in
Melbourne over the weekend and I was just mentioning to Lis that the Tassie trip would be interesting with
Melbourne traffic -
well Sunday sounds good.
BTW How's the rig going?
Kind regards
Theo

Hi Theo,
Yes, a Saturday or Sunday departure from
Melbourne is a good idea. The rig has been terrific. With all the hills in Tassie, I'm glad I did the DP chip and exhaust upgrade though. On the mainland, we very rarely go below 3rd gear even crossing the Dividing Range. In Tassie, 2nd has had a good work out when towing. Apart from the steepness of some roads, there is little chance to build and maintain momentum due to the turns.
Have so far had zero warranty issues with the vehicle and any issues with the van have been minor and rectified quickly and without question.
We have now been full time Nomads for close to 14 months. No regrets and both happy that we will stay in this mode for at least 5 years.
