Dave, I just noticed on the front RHS, is that the A/C unit and intake?
If so you will have dust problems with the A/C sucking dust.

The AC fans and condensor is down the side and is easy to hose clean but the intake vents are above the windscreen (the black bit if you look closely) and they have a filter in them. I've driven plenty of 2wd coasters in dusty conditions and it's not been a problem.
