Thanks Harry. How did you find Turner Caravan
Park? I'm trying to remember how many parks
Augusta has. Few more shops there last time we visited.Did you do any fishing? We have in the past always camped at
Hamelin Bay and just done day visits to
Augusta however after my last trip I vowed never to
camp at
Hamelin Bay again. So now we are scouting for alternate locations. Cheers, doc.

It was great if especially if you get a site near the
water. There is another c/
park on the way to the lighthouse in the old settlement. I have been in there and it looks good as
well. I think its called Flinders Bay caravan
park. There is also one on the way into
Augusta called WestBay - have not been in there. Fished but got nothing. I have a holiday house on Molloy Island which 10kms up the
Blackwood so it is very unusual for me to
camp at
Augusta. I have been to
Hamelin Bay a few times but have never stay at the
park. I have never had the desire to
camp there.
