The Adventure Begins - 2010 Capricorn Resort Half Ironman

Well as I write this I am sitting outside gate 12 Perth domestic airport getting ready to depart Perth to head to Brisbane and then onto Rockhampton.

Thanks for the update Dave! The RSS hasn't made it to my Facebook profile yet but you've had so many people wish you luck based on the bit I put on my wall, from Nat & Arron, Anne-Marie, Dennis, Craig, Bec, Kim etc. Also, everyone has begged me to cancel runing tonight, first it was that slacker Kate, then the calls and FB msgs flooded in - but Dennis still reckons he was gonna run anyway! We're all thinking of you and wishing you heaps of luck - we know its hard on your own but all your North Coast buddies are here cheering you on and the race day hasn't even arrived yet!! Go smash it !!

Dennis went and let people know it was cancelled. 3 more turned up but all ok. Perth Running centre put out an incentive today to C2S runners to not let bad weather affect your training so some people felt guilty I think!
