Comment: How do we know if our car is a lemon and what do we do?

hi karen b
did you buy this vehicle from a reputable dealer
only 37000km's on the clock it seems to be having a huge amount of problems for that supposedly short distance

did it look like it had been off road before you bought it

did it look like it had been resprayed underneath
did you crawl around under it prior to the purchase

i ask how could so much be wrong with it after only that distance

or has it actually done a lot more and been wound back do you know 's origin and or where it was first sold
perhaps it was one of those lemons that was built on a friday before a long weekend
it's very disheartening to shell out your hard earned dollars and get something like this for your money
i would keep pushing for answers from land rover australia as this is not good for the vehicles reputation or the selling dealer
who would want to buy one if they have this much trouble in such a short distance
i mean worn bushes and fuel system had to be replaced and all these leaking oil seals sounds very sus to me
there seams to be something amiss with this one although landrovers have had trouble with oil seals from day one
so it appears that they still havent learn't by 2008 to make decent sealing part in all the years they have been making vehicles

is shintu motors a recognized land rover service center or is it just a run of the mill mechanical repair shop in the back streets of broome

cheers and hope you can get some satisfaction out of l r aus

We purchased the vehicle brand new, and aren't hard core 4 wheel drivers, just like to get off road to get a great campspot or see some great piece of the outdoors, so it's been 95% on the bitchy. Shinju motors in broome were authorised landrover fixers, the next spots being perth or darwin. So we'll just keep pushing for extended warrenty or something. Thanks. all the comments support that what we've experienced isn't the norm.
