Hi went 4wd at lancelin (in wa if ppl didn't know where that is) all was good paj doing pretty well then it happened down the steep enbankment which went well it was getting back up again that caused me grief.
The rear mud flaps acted like big sand anchors as i reached the crest and crack!!!! ripped the rear bumper from tail light to the tow ball.
Has anyone else had this problem or any ideas on how to rectify so as not to happen again.
Would show photo but haven't worked out how yet
Thanking you in advanced
Russell

Seems to be a common problem with NM/NP Pajeros. Check out www.pajeroclub.com.au for more info

Hi Rus
Just got back from fraser, had simular problem, popped them them both both of, and ripped off the plastic skiddy underneath, the metal one hung on, did it towing a camper trailer on the way up to lake allom, a good learning curve, wont take the kids and all of there garbage that never got used.....next time.
Plastic under 4 x 4s just doesnt cut it......
