ONLY use the WS oil that Toyota supply
DO NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE
Mine was done in
Adelaide by a so called Transmission specialist and he put Transmax in it and was it rough. Had to get it flushed out in Coffs for a cost of $500 including 12L of oil to do the job.
He also nipped an O ring which made it suck air Got my money refunded in the end.
The drain plug should have WS stamped on it therefore only use that oil
The tranny take3.5 ltr according to my manual and has to be topped up and checked for correct levels etc using a laptop. So they informed me at Toyota Coffs.
Mine was done at 115,000 because mechanic reckoned it was a bit dirty Toyota said it wouldnt have needed it going by the oil that was in it 3,000k later.
