Hello John and Val, Im enjoying reading your travel stories. This section interests me as I grew up in
Wyndham. If you have a look in my profile gallery you can see what the river looked like before the dam was built, these are from my fathers slides.
I was in
Canberra at the end of September last year and talked to the people at the Historical society and left some photos with them of the area from our 61/62 trip around Aust. and was able to ID some of them.

Hi Rob,
Your photos of the
Ord River before the dam are very interesting, as are the others you have in your profile. You can see where the high
water level was, must have been a sight in the wet. Thanks for pointing them out.
