Just wish I had got it on film! Here I was altruistically returning to the scene to be accused of hiding out till the work was done.....you betcha! Besides I was almost going to get back first to the
camp to spread the word...b ut no, back I came to help....and it was such a benign bit of country too..almost flat....I only managed to bog it twice in
sand dunes of the
Gibson Desert.....but NEVER EVER turned it over....your infamy will live on.

Hmmm ironic coming from a bloke who could single handedly do more damage with a surfboard in
Sydney Harbour than all the Jap submarines ever built! The quad didn't roll....it tipped. I actually believe it was necessary to rotate it 90 degrees to fit it through the tight gap.
