Comment: Product Review No.1 - Toyo Open Country MT tyres (285/75-R16) & Speedie

Maybe, just maybe, I will be changing vehicles...
an F250 is in my sights. Old age cruising comfort, and with the capacity for serious offroad trecks.....suitably configured of course.

But, I have run the Toyos and have found them to be soooooooooo much better than MRF's (only joking, the Toyos are a totally different tyre)
The only reason I will get rid of my 285's is to put a higher profile tyre on the F truck.

Over time I too have used a variety of tyre types and treads. Considering the terrain we travelled this year, Toyo would rate very high for all round ability to handle rough/sandy/rocky/chity terrain without too much heartache.

Would I purchase them again, yes. Why, I believe that you get what you pay for.......sure they are not cheap but you only need to chop out one or two of the other brands to be well and truly in front.

I support what Mick O has put in his blog..our Toyo tyres took a pounding this year and did it with realative ease.

Some plugs, no chipping, lugs still where they should be...tread still good.....no problems.

Cheers
