Hi Mick
I certainly agree with you about the Toyos. I have just worn out my 1st set of 265/75/16 Toyo open country MT I got 55,000 km out of them with only one puncture.
I often drive off track in salt bush & burnt stick country.I have tried the Goodyear & Cooper MT which both let me down with many sidewall punctures.
The Toyos handle
well on the black top with very little road noise. The cost in WA was $415 each fitted and worth every cent!
Regards
Steve

Cheers Steve. It's been a round-about route to get to these but they have been worth the journey. I've used the three 'other' brands people talk about and found them all to be good in certain conditions but as an infallible all rounder, the Toyo's will take some beating. Merry Xmas to you and the best of outback travel for 2011. Mick
