After traversing the original track down from
Birdsville, one night in the wetlands campground at Mungaranie wasn't quite long enough. Two would be good.

Excellent idea. I have never done the whole
Birdsville Track. I have gone up as far as Maree and I have been from
Birdsville to the
Walkers Crossing track but not the bit in the middle. I tried to get to the ferry a couple of months ago but the road was closed.
