Hey Wayne,
I was thinking about our mid-year run after I put that post up and the three GS's each had an extra fuel container (5-7.5 lt) as
well as the bladder. From memory we carried 35-40 lt each to do that run (+ min 7lt
water). I usually work on an extra 10-20% fuel for that getting lost and backtracking/ big headwind etc - as you'd know they are too big to push.
