We are travelling from
Darwin across to
Cairns via the Carpentaria H'way. We are stuck with the following problem- when we get to
Daly waters we are staying overnight. The next day we want to pass through
Borroloola and go further but not quite as far as
Wollogorang Station. Anyone have any ideas on where we(husband, 3 chn and me) can stay?

From memory there is an old scrape just 50 metres or so north of the Robinson River on the side of the road. Not much shade though. We camped there. There is also a small
camping area on the banks of the Calvert River. Get there on dusk and then the flies won't worry you.

Kangaroo creek is a nice spot , but I think it is closer to
Wollogorang ... by the way make sure you don't need fuel & supplies at
Wollogorang ..... $1.90 a litre and $6.50 a loaf of bread ..... otherwise a nice spot ... if you can't make
Wollogorang you might prefer to stop short at
Cape Crawford roadhouse & then
Wollogorang next day ..... the Leichardt Falls further past
Wollogorang is good .
