Hi Mick.
I don't carry spare studs as I don't expect them to fail. Q: why do you reckon your's did? It's a pretty rare event as witnessed by the lack of similar reports over the years.
I'd be getting a metallurgist to have a look at the prob 'cos it's possibly a warranty issue with a dodgy foundry quality control situation.
