Comment: The Kimberley - A quad expedition along the remote Drysdale and Carson

Hi Mick, re the pic of the truck cab it looks like an old Commer Knocker. They had a 2 stroke diesel and had a loud diesel rattle hence the name "Knocker". I remember Mick Quilty from Ruby Plains Station had one in the early 70's. My Dad used to cart fuel and stores there in those days. I go to the heritage truck shows etc here in Brisbane and there is a beautifully restored one regularly showed there.
