Comment: The Pilbara - Out to Newman via the Mike Mine, Carawine, Running Waters

Indeed we were blessed with some magic driving, and places to see......so little time tho'.

I had almost forgotten Eel Pools, a beautiful place and I would have been very happy to have spent more time exploring.

As for the Skull Springs road...with my unplanned, hasty departure for home I expected to traverse Skull Springs road rather quickly...not so. Given that mucho rain had fallen in the general area I managed but a few km's down a boggy washed out track before turning around.

No way did it resemble the smooth, dry, graded road of a few days previous.

Good read Mick O, opened up the memory bank again..

-and I still have the snorkel head. If anyone can recall losing it give me a call.

Cheers

What about the salad bowl and lamp shade lol. I don't think the rain has stopped much since you tried Michael! Cheers Mick
