Thank you for your thoughts and comment, I guess the "Folks on the hill" saga really started a very long while ago ~ decades ago actually.
The government and no doubt the mining industry can be fairly narrow minded when it comes to issues that could wound peoples sensitivities, more so when it possibly involves ones spiritual or cultural beliefs, oddly the government and the resourse industry demand certain protocols are observed when dealing with them ~ but it appears ~ they are not required to follow these protocols.
