Comment: Tassie 2011

Great read Dalb
Makes me want to get back to Tassi and enjoy a pie or two as well, LOL.
The Montezuma track was a bit wet and boggy last year only got a little way into it and turned back bit to late in the day to be getting stuck.

Rob.
I only ever made one mistake
and that's when I thought I was wrong!

Thanks Rob. It had not rained at Montezuma for about a week before we went, but it was still very slushy for the first Km or so, then it got much better. I too would not like to have started the journey late in the day, firstly because you could be all alone if something went wrong, but also because you would have to face the mob coming down, and there are very few places to pass, and backing up on such a track could be horrendous in places.
Cheers Dalb
