Hi Sass,
We day-tripped out to
Lake Ballard from Kalgoorlie to see the Inside Australia sculptures with 3 bigger kids (4 - 9rs) and a littley (maybe 10 months?) and all were MOST impressed. When you take into account distances already travelled, it's not too far (all things are relative).
Well worth a look...
