Our Return to the Cooper - It just gets better August 2011

After our first visit to the Cooper Creek Ferry site in June 2010, it was one Outback destination that we had to return to. Those that have camped there will know why and will have similar

Hi Stephen & Fiona,

BUGGER!

You have just reminded me of this time last year after doing the Anne Beadell with you guys and then continueing on to the Cooper doing exactly what you have just described.

Kayaking, helo flight, boat tour but the only thing I couldn't do was to cross the Cooper on the ferry as we were rained in and the roads were closed each side so had to sit it out and get out when the ferry operators changed over with their permission to follow them and to get out while we could even though the roads were closed as it would be some days before they would open again.

Good to see you guys are getting out and about and enjoying it.

Hi Stewart

When we were there we thought of the time that you were caught out there. It is a top spot but no fun when wet as you are well aware of. Hope you are keeping fit and well.
