Excellent blog Stephen, Brenda and I drove the track after many years just 3 weeks ago. Camped overnight at the punt (in the ferocious wind) and then drove down to see the Cooper Crossing still about 400 meters wide and I,m told 3 - 4 meters deep.

Thanks for that. Yes it is a good drive and while there is
water over the track and the ferry running, it adds that special little tough to the drive.
