Sarah, I’ll presume you’re using the Insert image function at the bottom of the blog. You then scroll through the files on the computer until you find the image you want to upload and double click it. Type in a descriptor and you should be right.
If it is taking forever, this is because the image is probably too large. Images of 2meg or more take a fair while (minutes) to load up. What I do is usually reduce the pictures I want to upload first using my photographic program. Another sneaky way to do it is to go to the photos through My documents or Windows explorer. Right click on the photo and then select the Email to someone option. It will then prompt you to reduce the photo. Select yes and it will pop it in an email ready to go. Simply highlight the file and save it to another folder without sending. Then upload that reduced photo.
Q1280 x 960 pixels usually reduced the photos to between 250 -400 KB and they will upload in 5 seconds as opposed to several minutes otherwise.
The site has a bug at the moment where the photos will load to the top left hand corner of the blog page. You have to manually cut and paste them to where you want them in the story or just cut them hollusbolus and paste them to the bottom of the page.
Hope that helps. Looking forward to seeing some photos.
Cheers Mick
