Hi again, Lee & Eric. Sorry, but I don't really know what is going on up there post-floods. Most of our trips since then have been down South or up the Northern Highway (where the wildflowers are putting on a great show, I might add). The best night we had recently was at Walga Rock, but that is still 50km away from Cue and might be a bit far for your needs?? Bush camping with a fire - no facilities. Great aboriginal rock art. Depends on what sort of scenery you are looking for, I suppose. Good luck.

Thanks Mary-Teresa,
We had Walga Rock on the itinerary for our last ventrue up the Great Northern Hwy but never made it. We love that road!
Bush camping without faciliteis is just what we like..although at the moment we really do need ot be near a body of water for washing etc. So maybe next time.
