We stayed the night out at Dead Horse Gap then went out to Fort Grey the next day when that road opened. You must have just got a brief "road open" window as everything was closed by later in the afternoon. There were some very muddy sections as we came through from Wanaaring, took a bit of work to get the worst of it off Troopy.
Cheers,
Val.

Yes I was a bit dubious about the Wanarring road being "open" on the road conditions board. We'd have been looking at a damp nite in the caravan park that's for sure. Actually we'd managed to secure one of the on sites there but didn't need it. A pity about the weather as I'd have really liked the boys to have a good couple of days on the Cooper. An excuse to go back next year I suppose. Cheers M.
