Hi all,

I am in the final stages of planning our next trip (we leave next Saturday). This will be our first Easter away from home and our 2 children are a little concerned that they might miss out on a visit from the Easter Bunny.

It looks like we could be spending Easter on Fraser Island, I'm a little concerned about leaving Easter Eggs around the campsite, the dingoes would have a feast !

Any one else had this problem ?

Suggestions ?

Thanks
Phil P

If you leave eggs around the campsite you can be fined $1200 (each egg), you will need to find a more creative way to do it.

Put them in the car, in the tent, in the top of every crate that the kids may open.

Forewarned is forearmed, making food available to wildlife on Fraser is a serious offence and if you are caught you will be fined heavily.

Hi Phil...when my kids have been away for Easter and they've been concerned that the bunny won't find us....I've left the Easter bunny a note just letting him know where we'll be I've also left him a little map so he can find us..[the easter bunny is magic so it doesn't matter if he comes to your house first...he can magic himself away...ahahahh..not sure if you know that vital piece of info lol ] you can also download letters from the Easter bunny to your kids.....and easter bunny feet that you can print and cut out you could blutac leave these around your tent etc on top of things...and just have the eggs in the fridge with a note from the bunny saying that he was concerned the dingos might eat their eggs...kids love that sort of stuff.....and lets face it...as long as they get some choccie..they don't care...ahahhaha...

No problems.
Easter bunny wont make it to Fraser Island!!!
He or She will be to busy over at the Flinders Ranges with the 42 of us. LOL

We always put our kids eggs along side there bed, its the 1st thing they see when they open there eyes.

Cheers

G'day Phil P, don't forget that bunnies are feral round this country of Oz. Be better to introduce the Easter Bilby and blast the bunnies or make sure they don't escape to the outdoors.......
